YK Energy “Hüsamlar Rehabilitation” Panel and Tree Planting Ceremony

MAPEG General Manager Mr. Arslan NADİR and his team were also present at Yeniköy Kemerköy Energy's events “Hüsamlar Yeniden - Rehabilitation of Old Mining Sites Panel” and “Tree Planting Ceremony” in the 511 hectare area named “Hüsamlar Yeniden” within the scope of “11 November National Afforestation Day”.
After the opening speeches of Mr. NARIN and Mr. Burak IŞIK, Deputy General Manager of YK Energy, a panel discussion moderated by Journalist / Author Didem Eryar Ünlü was held with the participation of Prof. Dr. Mustafa KUMRAL, ITU Vice Rector and Dean of the Faculty of Mining, Prof. Dr. Gökşen Çapar, Director of the Water Management Institute from Ankara University, Prof. Dr. Mücahit Taha Özkaya from Ankara University Faculty of Agriculture, and Hüsamlar Project Consultant Assoc. Dr. Sultan Gündüz.

With the “Hüsamlar Re- Rehabilitation of Old Mining Sites” project, 300,000 saplings and plants will be planted on 511 ha in 2024-2025, and it is aimed to afforest 1,363 ha by 2032.
