The 40th edition was organized by the University of Pittsburgh under the auspices of MENR and in cooperation with YMGV, TKİ, KÖMÜRDER and ITU Mineral Processing Engineering Department in Istanbul on October 4-6, 2023 with the slogan "Technological Innovations and Solutions for Clean Energy". We would like to thank Prof. Dr. Güven ÖNAL, President of the Foundation for the Strengthening of Mining in Turkey, for organizing this important event in Turkey, where foreign participants outnumbered the participants from Turkey. Our member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet BİLEN also participated with a paper. We are grateful to our professor for inviting our Association, which is wherever there is a professional development event and established to strive for the professional development of mining professionals.
