Post Mining Workshop

Dr. Metin AKTAN, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Secretary General of our Association, attended the Post Mining Workshop organized by the Post Mining Network Association, an international association based in Paris, in the mining areas in Belgium and France. We will discuss with our stakeholders the details of the "COST ACTION Post Mining Project Proposal" led by our association and the details of the "International Post Mining Symposium" that we will organize with the Paris association on 22-24 May 2024. We started the program with experts from around the world in Charleroi, in the Walloon region of Belgium, once the center of the coal and iron and steel industry. We had the opportunity to see Biopark (we call it afforestation) and industrial heritage practices on site.
