NTE Project 3rd Sectoral Workshop

The 3rd Sectoral Workshop of the NTE Project, a joint EU project of MTA and MUNTEAM (Munzur University Rare Earth Elements Research Center), of which the Ministry of Industry and Technology is the beneficiary, was held at Tunceli Munzur University on November 19-20, 2024. The opening speeches of the workshop were made by MTA Mineral Analysis and Technologies Department Head Saruhan SAKLAR, Ministry of Industry and Technology Deputy General Manager of Industry Mr. Ümit Yasin GÜVEN and Munzur University President Prof. Dr. Kenan PEKER.

Within the scope of the workshop, speeches were made about the service competencies of MTA and MUNTEAM, the areas of use and importance of NTEs. In addition, focus group studies on material development, new generation product production, e-waste recycling, metallurgy processes, R&D sessions and visits to MUNTEAM laboratories were held. Our Association was represented by our Board Member Mr. Mehmet ÇELİKDEMİR at the workshop.
