INTERNATIONAL SUMMIT ON RARE EARTH ELEMENTS

Within the scope of Turkey's Rare Earth Elements Research and Innovation Capacity Building Project; "Rare Earth Elements International Summit" was held in Ankara on 21-22 February 2024 with the theme of "Sustainable Solutions for Rare Earth Elements Supply Chain" with the participation of our Minister of Industry and Technology Mr. Mehmet Fatih KACIR. On behalf of the project beneficiaries MTA and Munzur University MUNTEAM, Rector of Munzur University Prof. Dr. Kenan PEKER addressed the participants. At the summit, Turkish and international experts shared their views in the sessions on Global Supply Chain, Associated Risks and Opportunities, Extraction of REE Ores, Production of Permanent Magnets and REE Bearing Materials, Production of REEs from primary and secondary sources.
