2023 EXTRAORDINARY GENERAL ASSEMBLY

Founded on September 3, 2021, the 1st Ordinary General Assembly Meeting of our Association was held on 13.02.2022. Our Association, which has successfully carried out its establishment activities, needed renewal after 1.5 years of intensive work. For this reason, at the Extraordinary General Assembly convened on 16.7.2023, the flag of service was handed over to the new board members.
We would like to thank Vice President Barış KURULAR, Secretary General Serdar Cem BOZTAŞ, Treasurer Onur Birkan GAYRET, Gülşah DİNAR, Volkan OKYAY, Audit Committee members Murat İŞCAN, Halit AKSOY and Hasan Ersin ETLİK for their outstanding services during the establishment process.
The General Assembly of the Association, which is based in Ankara to provide training and related activities to ensure that mining engineers in Turkey gain competence in their fields of expertise and become preferable in their employment, convened at the address of the Association with the participation of 21 out of 67 full members.
Mr. Halim DEMİRKAN, Chairman of the Founding Board of Directors, took the floor on behalf of the founding board of directors to make the opening. Mr. Volkan OKYAY was elected as the Chairman of the Council, Mr. Burak GÖBÜTOĞLU as the Vice Chairman and Ms. Şadiye KURT as the Secretary.
