Çanakkale Mining Sector Meeting 2024

Çanakkale Mining Sector Meeting 2024, organized by TMMOB Chamber of Mining Engineers and Çanakkale Miners Association with the slogan “Strong Mining, Strong Çanakkale”, was held on 20 December 2024 at the Çanakkale Commodity Exchange Conference Hall. The event started with the viewing of the TMD Promotional Video and speeches by TÜMMER President Hanefi ŞİMŞEK, AGÜB President Temel YAZ and ÇAMAD President Mr. Mehmet Naci TÜLEK. The title of the panel organized within the scope of the event was “The Future of Mining and the Role of Çanakkale”. The moderator of the session was Mehmet Naci TÜLEK (Chairman of Çanakkale Miners' Association) and the speakers were Mehmet YILMAZ (Chairman of TMD), Ali EMİROĞLU (Vice President of YMGV), Aykut AKDEMİR (Chairman of TMMOB Chamber of Mining Engineers İzmir Branch) and Dr. İbrahim Kürşat TUNA (25th Term Çanakkale Deputy, Member of the Mining Assembly of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey). The event ended with a Gala Dinner. Our members Şahin ÖZDEMİR and Meltem TAPAN attended the meeting.
