The event, which brought together graduates of the Ankara University Department of Geology, also hosted a booth exhibition at the University's Gölbaşı Campus, attended by mining and exploration companies and civil society organizations. Mining companies Öksüt Mining, Acacia Mining, Lidya Mining, drilling firms Jemas, Middle East Drilling, Next Drilling, Kayen, Geodes, engineering firms GM Engineering, Geopet, ARS Group, Academy Project, Yolcular Geotechnical, YLC, Ermaks Engineering, Geomek Engineering, Argetest Laboratory, Geotolia Geological Equipment Marketing, publishing companies Mining Turkey, Mining and After Magazines, news portal, and civil society organizations such as the Geological Engineers Association, MAYEM, WIM, and MJD.

The event, which featured the first and last graduates from the Department of Geology Engineering at Ankara University—one of the first institutions in Turkey to offer geology education—along with industry professionals, university academics, and representatives from various sectors including construction, energy, mining, and government agencies, was a colorful and memorable occasion. The event began with a piano, cello, violin, flute, and vocal music recital.

The meeting was held by Prof. Dr. Veysel IŞIK, Head of the Department of Geological Engineering at Ankara University, and Prof. Dr. Yusuf Kaan KADIOĞLU, Vice Rector and Dean of the Faculty of Engineering.

Hüseyin Alan, President of the Geological Engineers Association; Prof. Dr. Şuayip Üşenmez, retired faculty member, former MP for Yozgat, and former State Minister; and Banu Çolak, listed among the World's Top 100 Women in Business, shared their experiences and discussed current and academic developments in the sector.
