AKK (Ankara City Council) Energy, Mining and Geosciences Commission Meeting

The meeting of the Energy, Mining and Geosciences Commission, which was established within the Production and Industry Working Group of the ECK upon the proposal of our Association, was held on 24 December 2024 at the City Council Hall under the chairmanship of the spokesperson Mr. Melih DANIŞMAN (Bilkent Alumni Association). Secretary of the Commission Mr. Yüksel KURT (Chamber of Petroleum Engineers), rapporteur Ms. Pınar YALMAN AKCENGİZ (OSTİM Renewable Energy and Environmental Technologies Cluster), commission members Mr. Zeki Emin DEMİR (Chamber of Geophysical Engineers), Ms. Rahime AYKAÇ (Entrepreneur Engineers Association), President and Vice President of our Association Mr. Ahmet İBUK attended the meeting. A comprehensive report on what can be done in the field of mining and geosciences within the borders of the Metropolitan Municipality was presented by us. It was decided that each member will bring suggestions related to their area of expertise to the next meeting.
