60th Anniversary Symposium: Mining Potential of the Eastern Black Sea Region and Combating Natural Disasters

The Department of Geological Engineering at Karadeniz Technical University (KTÜ) is preparing to celebrate its 60th anniversary with an important scientific event. The symposium, titled “60th Anniversary Symposium: Mineral Potential of the Eastern Black Sea Region and Combating Natural Disasters,” will be held on October 23-25, 2025.

The event will address the rich mineral potential of the Eastern Black Sea region, its geological structure, and solutions to frequently encountered natural disasters from a scientific perspective. The symposium aims to bring together experts in the field, industry representatives, and researchers.
